Episode 04: The Time I Fought A Neurosurgeon

On February 26th 2021, I turned 23-years-old. The night Matt and I celebrated my birthday, would also be the night my father got into a serious car accident and nearly lost his life.

The days following the accident were a blur. Matt drove my to John F. Kennedy Airport on a moment’s notice and I jumped on a direct flight to Puerto Rico on February 27th, not knowing what type of situation I would be entering into.

If I only I knew that the situation would be filled with roadblocks, hurdles, and near impossible challenges that stood between us and getting my father back to New York safely.
