Episode 17: The Journey of Nathan Hall, MSITSE, CISSP

“Art is coding, my time is valuable, and I love to serve.” - Nathan Hall

On this episode of KD’s journey, I interview Nathan Hall and dive into the meaning behind these words.

Let’s start with Nathan’s top three takeaways that he has found to be consistent throughout his journey:

  1. Continue to learn every day

  2. Do not wait until your product or idea is perfect (do not sit in your bubble

  3. Help people who want to succeed

Nathan Hall tells his story beginning with where it all started, in middle school reading coding magazines; to the coast guard where he learned positive behaviors to drive him to success; to now, where he better understands how life is a marathon and not a sprint.

Nathan discusses the value of time, the hard work behind building a professional network, being present in your path, and constantly sharpening your tools to thrive in today’s world.

Additionally, he emphasizes how simple change can be, only if it is good enough to bring more change in return, as well as, learning to open your mind to allow new opportunities in your direction.

After you listen, I challenge you to answer this question, “what drives your passions?”

Take a listen!
